FALL and HALLOWEEN.....Day 11

On Day 11 of Halloween my love gave to me:
  11 BATS a SWOOPING

We had motion activated bats that would swoop around the chandelier or wherever hung.  They were a fun but noisy item.

Today like the werewolves I got another homemade thinking of your card today with bats on it.  That’s fine with me. I don’t think I’d actually want live ones.

Halloween decorations are interesting to say the least. I recently saw someplace (could be in the web) a table top Christmas tree with orange and black garland.  A few few black cats (cut from card stock), hole punched and tied with black yarn were hung on the tree.  This would make great decoration for Halloween; for Thanksgiving all you’d need is to take off the cats and add turkeys or pilgrims.  One thing I found for decorating for Halloween and Thanksgiving is the color scheme is orange, brown and black.  Also pumpkins are okay to use for both holidays.  All you need to do is change a bit of what goes with the pumpkin.  I had put away the ghosts, cats and skeletons.  I then took out my pilgrim items, Indians and turkeys to place around with pumpkins.
Living in Florida I’ve seen some interesting Halloween decorations outside. On house I see took a few old white sheets.  They stuffed something in it to make a head and tied it off; then added two eyes and mouth with magic marker. These became ghosts and were hung from a palm tree.
They look really cute especially with white lights strung around the tree trunk.
My own front yard has orange and black flamingos.  Once Thanksgiving is over they return to storage for another year.
Decorating is left to your own imagination.
Until tomorrow.....enjoy your day.
