SPREADING HOLIDAY CHEER
Today.....CALL a FAMILY MEMBER YOU HAVE NOT SPOKEN with in a WHILE

It seems with everyone being busy (even if retired) we may not have time to keep in contact with our family. Whether it be our immediate family; or uncle/aunt or cousins. We just don’t keep in close contact. The occasional email or text to say hello just is not the same as a phone call. Speaking with someone, hearing their voice; letting them hear your voice can brighten their day.
We send the yearly Christmas cards; sometimes include a letter of our year past. But just sitting back in a comfy chair dialing up the number of a member of the family is a truly good feeling inside. It does not matter how long since you last saw them; spoke with them or received or sent a card; an unexpected call can be a wonderful surprise. Who knows maybe they are feeling lonely or having issues with health. Your just to say hello and how are you doing does not take much time or effort. Perhaps you can make plans to chat more often. If they live close, maybe planning an outing for before the holidays would be fun.
Don’t wait to be called by them. Pick up the phone and call.
