Day 7.... Buy a few toys to donate to a holiday toy drive
FOR YOU
Day 7.....While buying those toys for the toy drive buy something for yourself like a small holiday stuff animal
Many local organizations are sponsoring toy drives this time of year. There are many children who would not have a Merry Christmas if not for the efforts of individuals and groups sponsoring these events. Many times one does not give a toy due to not having shopping time so a monetary donation is welcomed.
For Day Seven I think going out looking at toys would be fun instead if a cash donation. Who knows it could bring out the child in you; possible bring back happy memories of Christmases past.
If you are fortunate you may find a sale or a 'buy one get one half off'.
Whatever you decide upon doing enjoy. Don't forget while shopping you should find that holiday stuffed animal for yourself. The item does not have to be big but something small that brings a smile to your face. After the holidays, pack it away until next year; bring it out again then and remember the day you purchased it. Remember why you purchased it and what you were doing that particular day.
As my day six, I had stopped for gas at a convince store and got myself a coffee also. I saw that a few others were getting coffee so I told the cashier I'd pay for the next person's drink. The man who benefited was more than surprised and he decided to pay for the next person.
Unfortunately I could not do the 'For You' portion of spreading cheer as I had a coffee to go. Later at home I took a time for myself with a cup of hot chocolate with both mini-marshmallows and whip cream while I watched yet another feel good holiday movie.
Enjoy Day Seven and think about the child/children who will benefit from your kind gesture.
