December 10th...Day 11 ‘SPREADING HOLIDAY CHEER’
Give a holiday mug with packet or two of hot chocolate and candy cane.

A holiday cup/mug can be found at most stores this time of year. A dollar type store, drug store, department store, value store even grocery store. A cute idea but one or perhaps two. Purchase box containing hot chocolate and pick up box of candy canes (the original peppermint). Put a packet or two in the mug along with candy cane. Wrap the cup/mug in plastic or cellophane or put inside a gift bag. You can leave it for co-worker, give to neighbor or friend. Give a cute inexpensive card signed “SANTA”. I remember someone doing this for me years ago. It made my day. Of course yuh can always tweak this idea and put chocolate kisses in the cup or miniature candy bars. It’s the fun of doing the act that matters. I like tea so I had once found a cup with box of peppermint tea instead of the chocolates.
Yesterday I placed a few cards at different places where I stopped. I set one on a table at the restaurant where I ate. Later I left two cards on different a tables at the local veteran’s club where I stopped. No one paid attention to what I was doing so I’m sure the person who found it was surprised. On the envelope I wrote,”WHO FINDS THIS CARD, IT IS YOURS.” Inside I placed a snowman ornament. I only hope whoever found the cards enjoyed the surprise and it made their day.
