THANKFUL MONTH....Day One

A friend wanted to do a challenge for the month to take one of the wacky/weird holidays for the day and do an acrostic.
My husband decided he needed to time my pieces as always.
I took ALL SAINTS Day as today’s holiday.
I’m not sure if I’ll complete this challenge but I plan to give it a good try.  Although the acrostic does not reflect All Saints as many of my acrostic usually focuses on a different topic than what the acrostic spells.   My piece focuses on the month of November and the fact it’s termed by me in past years as Thankful Month.  We tend to skip over the holidays of being thankful in November.  First we need to be thankful to our veterans for giving us the freedom we have; Thanksgiving day we give thanks for all we have. As a few years ago I did a
THANKFUL WORD List.  I found I did not do this in 2019 for some reason. Instead of blogging as I did in 2018,  I’m doing my thankful as a THANKFUL REFLECTION for the day; to change it up.
Today’s thankful is: EACH and EVERY DAY

    🔴THANKFUL REFLECTION DAY ONE🔴

Today I am internally grateful for each and every day.  Each day is a wonderful gift and we should make the most of it; don’t squander it away.  Make it the best you can every day.  Don’t let anyone or anything deter you; keep positive and remember always be thankful.

I took the second verse a bit out of the normal for what the weird holiday of the day actually is but took it as being the first of November.  My a/c still kicks on when needed. I hope it gets less humid soon. I don’t recall having my a/c on this late in the year, but then I’m not certain. I think I turned it completely off by mid-November.
Until tomorrow....have a blessed Sunday and as always Stay Safe.

And today November has arrived on
   October’s coattail

Like most months I have a label for
       November

Lest we forget that it is month of
      Thanksgiving

Stands to reason I’d call this THANKFUL
        MONTH

As we are thankful to our veterans on the
    eleventh for our freedom

Inasmuch on Thanksgiving we give thanks
     for what we have

Nevertheless many tend to forget these two
       holidays

Turning their thoughts to Christmas the day
    after Halloween

Sometimes we need to put out a memo that
    November holidays are important

October bids a fond farewell
As November month says hello
In the northern states the current weather
        chilly
Some states I think there is snow
But here in the Sunshine State
My air conditioner is still going strong
Hope to turn it off by Thanksgiving Day
Because I feel it would just seem wrong
To be sipping eggnog and listening to
      Christmas tunes
While the air conditioner goes off and on
