NATIONAL POETRY MONTH....Day Nineteen

A few days ago I sat outside enjoying the Florida spring weather. I like the late morning the best before I get myself into gear to do errands. I was trying to collect my thoughts on many things; wanting to write them down. It seemed everything just intertwined together.  I ended up putting down random thoughts on my journal. Nothing made any sense. This morning when I looked back on that day's entry it triggered the following piece.
Enjoy.
Until tomorrow.....have a great Thursday.

Outside I sit enjoying the warm
     weather of spring
 The sky an azure blue....
     Clouds appear like fluffs of
         cotton....
Birds singing their songs off in
        the distance....
No cares do I have today
as I breath in the crisp spring
          air
A notebook and pen in hand
Thoughts whirling through my
    brain become co-mingled
         together like items in the
              recycling bin
Not one concept comes clear
Writing down random musings
with the hope they make sense
at a later time and date
To be pieced together to become
       a story....poem....or blog
No matter what transpires down
the road I'll always have the
ideas that came to mind on
        that beautiful April afternoon
