People are just too quick to judge. I have learned early on in life you first need to know someone before making a snap judgement. Many, and I am one, don't like to tell their troubles and problems to others. Some of us keep a bit of our personal lives just that personal. Why bother others with issues we have when they possibly have their own.
Many wear a mask of a clown 🤡. On the outside we are happy and carefree but inside we could be hurting. I never judge another until I get to know something about them; even then I wonder what may be going on they don't want us to know.
This triggered one of today's pieces.
Yes it's Friday the thirteenth. So I created a short few lines about superstitions and myths. Enjoy.
Until tomorrow....enjoy the day it's Friday and the thirteenth.

FLIP FLOP WALK
©. Scottie-ann Murphy
Walk a mile in my shoes
Lyrics from an old country song
Walk a mile in my flip flops
after which you can say about
me whatever you want
You don’t really know the REAL
me
Don’t know my personal pain
What I fear....my troubles....my past
My dreams.....my desires....my hopes
You only know the part of me I
want you to seen
You judge people by their outside
cover....not their inside self
Walk a mile in my flip flops
I dare you!
I double dare you!

FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH
© Scottie-ann Murphy
Black cats crossing your path
Don't walk under a ladder
Break a mirror....seven years
bad luck
Spill salt...toss some over your
left shoulder
Bad luck comes in threes
A rabbits foot is lucky
Pick up a penny from the ground
for luck
SUPERSTITIONS
We have heard time and again
Oh the poor rabbit their foot did
not bring luck to them....it's
on my key chain
Why seven years of bad luck for a
mirror? Why not two?
Will a white cat crossing your
path after a black one, reverse
the curse?
That penny you bring picked up is
lucky as you're a penny richer
Friday the thirteenth....
Some believe it's curse of bad
luck
Others just take things as it
occurs
Whatever happens.....will happen
It's just another date on the
calendar
Another day of the week
