JULY pieces have been a challenge along with the weekday acrostic ones. Not sure what challenges my husband will throw at me for next week. I ended up with two SATURDAY pieces due to fact it came in bits and pieces in my mind. The second SATURDAY tells it like it is. The day most catch up on things not done during the week. One needs to do it all by noon so that the afternoon and evening is for rest and relaxing. The first deals with taking each day and situation in stride; be positive.
It’s hard to keep positive in these unsettling times but as I’ve said time and again stress does not help. Just keep rolling with the flow; and other positive cliches. I was up at 6:00am this morning which is early for me. Generally my wake up time is 7:00am when my neighbor puts the dog out. Doggy has become my alarm clock. Today I was awake but no dog at seven. Perhaps the neighbors were sleeping in today. The weather has really been on the humid side. There are days I don’t even want to venture out even for taking out the trash. Wearing a mask places in humid weather is not easy. Bad enough some people have hard time with it being humid but then to be masked. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’ve found stores not to be as cool as usual. I wonder if they are keeping their air conditioning high so people won’t be too comfortable walking around. It seems they want you in and out and not browsing. Today is National Mojito Day. I’ve never had one.
Until tomorrow....enjoy the first day of the weekend.

July 11th....DAILY REFLECTIONS
Early morning mowing I hear outside at
7:00 am.....guess they
want to get done before it gets
too hot....can’t blame them
I was up at 6:00 am....most mornings it’s
barking dog that’s my alarm....it usually
wakes me at 7:00....it’s 7:15 the
neighbor‘s dog not out
yet....guess he was
going to let me sleep
in today
Now that I’m up and about I guess I’ll write
a short blog....or play my daily Free
Cell challenge....my best moves
in the game is 83....best time a
little under two minutes

January first brought us hope for a better
year than last
Unfortunately things have not worked
out how we planned for 2020
Life took a strange turn when
COVID-19 quarantined us all
Year has only five months to
go, what will happen

Sometimes in life you may end up with
lemons or sometimes limes
Always look for the positive in everything
and it will work out fine
Take the frown on your face turn it upside
down
Understand no one likes to see an angry
face with a nasty scowl
Remember that things can go astray, there
is nothing you can do
Don’t let that be a deterrent and don’t get
upset or blue
And always look for a silver lining in cloudy
skies of gray
You need to take it all in stride; take hold
and seize the day

SATURDAY

Saturday begins the weekend, hip hip
hurray
Also today is your chore and your errand
catch up day
Things you could not accomplish doing the
rest of the week
Unfortunately they must be done, so don’t
you dare shriek
Rest and relaxing for you is going to have
to wait
Do what you need to do this morning, that
is your fate
After everything is all complete, it’s finally
time for R&R
You deserve it, yes siree you do, cause you
worked very hard
