Yesterday was errands day. Went to the bank, but the drive up window. Next was the Walgreens next to the bank. We found what we were looking to purchase. I had my rewards card ready but the person two ahead of me stood going through her pocketbook looking for hers. The person behind me I could here huffing irately. It is frustrating at times. I’ve found if you don’t have the rewards card, the cashier will use the phone number associated with the card. I do hope the six feet distance remains in cashier lines. I hate being in line and the person behind me rams their buggy into my butt. It’s not like the line will go any faster. I was inspired for the JULY piece by the hot humid weather. Living in Florida seventy degrees is sweatshirt weather for me. When I lived up North it was short sleeve shirt weather. During the hot days I think about the cool days in January now; when I lived up North in January I reflected on hot July afternoons. Throw Back Thursday, as some call it, had me thinking about throwing back a few margaritas. They seem to make me into a mellow mood at times. Of course I don’t drink them at home, don’t make them as tasty as the club. I decided to have fun with the piece about Thursday. Today is National Personal Chef Day; my husband is my personal chef so I’ll give him the day off and order take out.
Until tomorrow....enjoy the day.

July 16....DAILY REFLECTIONS
I’m sort of glad about the 6 feet apart at
the stores....at least I don’t have some
person ramming my butt with their
shopping cart when directly behind
me
Now if only people have their store rewards
card handy....or even their wallet out....
love when someone says “oh I have a
rewards card someplace, I’ll look for
it”....then spend five minutes going
through wallet or purse
I guess this is my pet peeve....people
should have rewards cards ready and
coupons....this was my issue at
Walgreens yesterday

January frigid cold days of thirty bring
thoughts of hot July afternoons
Unless you live in Florida, cold is below
seventy degrees for many of us
Little did I realize I’d need a sweatshirt
when the temps hit sixty-five
Yesterday sweltering, my thoughts
turned to cool winter days of
seventy

THROW BACK THURSDAY.

They call it Throw Back Thursday
And for me it is so true
Ever week on TBT I throw back
A tasty margarita or two
Salt around the glass rim
With a wedge of lime
After drinking a few of them
I really do feel oh so fine
I tune out all the bad news
Of the world that I hear or read
To forget everything for awhile.
Margaritas are what I need
Today is Throw Back Thursday
A few margaritas I’ll throw back
But if they don’t do the trick
I’ll try a few shots of Jack
