Short reading today.
July is half over. Can you believe it? I can’t. It like I get up, do few things then day is over. It would be different if we weren’t again in a state of flux not being able to go anywhere. I’m still waiting for the mask wearing to be mandatory throughout my state. Only few areas are enforcing it right now but that could change. I wrote my WEDNESDAY piece about not being able to do my weekly lunch at my Legion. I always order a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings on the side. These are just awesome burgers and one of the two places I’ll get a bacon cheeseburger. Actually I have not had one of the Legion burgers since beginning of March. Yes my mouth waters for one. But I do know when I finally get one it’ll be worth the wait. My daily thoughts also centered around the middle of the month. I’m curious just where it went that’s all. My days roll one into the next. Hurray today I’m doing errands. Actually going out. What to wear, what to wear. Mask already in car; Bitch Hat too. After all I feel like being one today. It’s Wednesday and I usually wear pink today; something my Legion seems to do. I like pink so no issues. I missed the weekly trip with my trash bin to the curb. My husband wanted the honors this week, but I’ll roll in back and hopefully be able to shut to the neighbors.
Today is National Hot Dog Day; it’s also National Gummi Worm Day.
Enjoy a hot dog then gummi worms for dessert.

It’s the middle of the month....where did the
first half go....cause I have no idea....if
anyone knows tell me
It’s Wednesday or Hump Day as some call
it....but to me it’s just another day....
another day that rolls into another
It’s errand day for me....I will need to wear
my mask....the new motto for us should
be....’MASK, Don’t leave home
without it’....maybe I’ll write something
eventually using my new motto

Wacky Wednesday as some do say
But to me it’s just another boring day
No where to go, still in quarantine
I loved to go out to make the scene
Instead I’ll just sit at home and read
Have a glass of wine, myself I’ll then feed
A big decision on what I should make
Perhaps a salad, baked potato and steak
No it’s Wednesday
The day I usually have a bacon
cheeseburger and onion rings
But I can’t the Legion is closed
