SUMMER’S HERE....July 3rd

Short blog today. 

I completed the third of the JULY pieces reflecting on the day of the week.  It’s not easy trying to come up the something with all the first letters of the first words spelling JULY; but I’ll keep trying. It’s good for my brain to do this; like a puzzle of sorts.  The second piece is a tribute to COMPLIMENT YOUR MIRROR DAY.  It was a fun piece to write giving the face in the mirror compliments.  A few days ago I think I reflected about perhaps no one can afford to shoot off fireworks this year.  Usually I’ll hear them a week before Independence Day.  Well they began late this year. Past two nights around ten I heard then go off.  That is just about my time to fall asleep and here I am hearing loud bangs from fireworks.  No doubt this will go on until either Sunday or Monday nights; depending on how things go with people being home.  I do know a few places have canceled their displays due to the gathering of large crowds to watch.  Such a shame but what must be done must be done.  It’s Friday as the JULY piece states; day we wear our RED.

       July 3rd....DAILY REFLECTIONS 

It’s Independence Day Eve....I always refer 

       to the day before a holiday as    

             ‘eve’....why, who knows

Been hearing fireworks past two nights at 

      ten....guess someone is practicing for 

                July 4th

No doubt this will go on every night until 

        Sunday....or Monday....hate how it 

                 disturbs my sleep

Judging by the calendar today is 

       Friday....the day I show support to our 

              troops

Unfortunately I’ll be going nowhere special, 

      but I’ll still don my red shirt 

Let nothing discourage me from RED 

     on FRIDAYs....I’ll wear red at home

 

You need to realize wearing red is a small 

    gesture to REMEMBER EVERYONE             

         DEPLOYED
