It’s odd that the word HOLIDAY is pulled as one of the last few for the month. Only one word left for tomorrow.
No reason why I wrote the acrostic but it appears always people think of just Christmas during December; yet there are other holidays in December. I wonder if that’s why people do say Happy Holidays. I had time to think about it during this December; yes I do hear Merry Christmas closer to the day but I wonder if people feel they need to include all December holidays in one message. I actually began to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays this year. In the past I never did.
The card verse I composed, I’ll probably use for next years cards or e-cards I post/send.
I think back to the past year and realize I began an on-line journal; I down loaded an app but see I never posted or used it after a certain date. I realize my entries were boring. What was I thinking? I never make resolutions but good intentions, goals and aspirations. I will say this I will be keeping the positive journal in 2021. I think I’ll use a journal and write down a positive each day.
I am not sure about other goals for 2021, but I need to make goals one month at a time. It may work out better this way.
I’m looking forward to this year ending not cause of COVID but because it sure was not one I’d want to repeat.
One goal I kept was to do a blog each day although I did not begin to post it daily until in April. I may cut back for awhile during the blog in January to get other things in order.
Today is New Year’s Eve Eve. I’m debating if I will attend the Senior Citizens Early Bird party tomorrow or not. Either way I need to pick up a bottle of Spumante or champagne.
Until tomorrow....enjoy the last Hump Day of 2020 and as always Stay Safe.
