This is now a 4:00am waking up writing. At least I got an extra hour this time.
This months challenge for writing are words Terry’s picks. Yesterday the word was EPITOME. Interesting as I’ve heard it but never used it. I guess I’ll need to increase my vocabulary with it. I wrote about a guy and his friends that he felt betrayed by. This was what popped in at 4:00am. It was interesting as I’m sure many a guys felt this from time to time.
The wacky holiday piece was fun as I thought about being at a diner. This I did earlier yesterday while sitting in the hospital with my husband. I got hungry and thought the wacky holidays made a good piece to write while being so. I even added one of today’s wacky holidays in the piece. This was because I saw what one of the holidays was and thought yes it’d work here.
It’s women’s history month as I’ve mentioned. I scribbled a few notes yesterday about it in a blank journal I had in my purse. I hope to be able to put them into some type of sense in the next few days. But with my current situation with my husband it’s going to really be a challenge to keep up writing for awhile.
This is short today, but I hope to get back into the groove.
Until tomorrow....enjoy the day and as always Stay Safe.

MR. MISERABLE
He was the epitome of being
miserable
Scowling at everyone
Being gruff in manner
He felt betrayed by his friends
They told him he needed to get a life
needed to give up on his hopes
of her
Instead of encouraging him
they kept on with the unwanted advice
As he thought about everything
perhaps the friends were right
He did not like his current attitude either

WACKY HOLIDAYS MARCH 1st
(National Peanut Butter Lovers Day; National
Fruit Compote Day; National Pig Lovers
Day and World Compliment Day)
I complimented the cook at the diner
the fruit compote quite tasty
the peanut butter cookies moist
It indeed was a refreshing change
from the pie I usually ordered
Feeling like a pig I ordered a few cookies to
go
along with an order of the fruit compote
Tomorrow I’ll order banana cream pie
