Hello and hurray it 3:30am. Time to write this; by doing so when I wake up at this hour and I get it on my blog page by nine. Of course it remembering to post to Facebook my blog ready to read.
My Irish word yesterday was CLOVER. The site I found the Irish words quite strange; well not the site as much as some of the St. Patrick’s Day words. There is clover and shamrock which I’d think sort of the same. No doubt it depends on the individual. At least I learned a lot about clover from researching it for my piece called CLOVER HISTORY. I was surprised to learn there are quite a variety of the weed but it also listed as wild plant. I’ve only known the clover one searches to find a four leaf clover. I certainly learned something new. I used what I found out as an acrostic.
I composed a MARCH acrostic. March is indeed not a boring month as you may find out in a future piece. Enough said for now.
Terry’s word of the day INCENTIVE. I used it for two different pieces. The first is a truth about yesterday. Seems a meeting I needed to attend yesterday was set up on a Sunday for Monday afternoon. Trying to get the word out well of course I had to do it for the person running the meeting; via Facebook. He was just lucky I did it before I received the call my husband was being transported to ER from rehab or the notice would never get out there. Enough said. Yes this is my new favorite saying it seems.
The other piece had to do with a my favorite triangle characters. My continuous love drama.
The wacky holidays were interesting. Funny I did the wacky holiday piece early in the morning yesterday. I used the retro video game Frogger. Terry wrote a comment to my daily holiday countdowns and mentioned Frogger in it. Guess great minds think alike.
I loved Frogger. I played it in a home game console as well as spent lots of quarters on video machines in the bars/clubs. My first husband was a fan of playing a video at this one bar called Mr. Do. It was a clown who had to collect stuff. You had to have good reflexes to get him moved to get the items.
I thought about downloading the app to play Frogger on my device but sure it won’t be as much fun as the retro game.
It’s Tuesday or as another Terry (a male) said once it’s Monday’s ugly sister.
