MADNESS of MARCH....Day 4

Well it’s 3:45am; I got an extra 45 minutes of sleep.  I have no idea why I wake up at this time, but I think it’s because this is the time I usually hear my husband get up to go to the bathroom; between 3:00am and 4:00am.  Even with him at rehab I’m still waking up at that time and fall back to sleep ten to fifteen minutes later.
My St. Patrick’s Day word today was IRISH.
I used it as an acrostic about luck is how things happen in life.  The second piece I wrote about is a female with an Irish temper.  Guess it stems from me loosing my cool on the phone with the rehab people.  An administration employee (not nurses) ticked me royally.  Let’s just say I am not sorry I snapped because I felt at the end of my rope.  In fact Terry’s word of the day FORLORN came from how I felt.  I used forlorn about a heart break and person feeling at the end of their rope.  The piece does have a happy ending for the character.
The wacky holidays sure were challenging to say the least.  It took awhile to try to get it in some sort of perspective.  It ended up as an odd type tea party.  I pictured it in my mind about the person wearing the specific tee shirt mentioned with her tiara to celebrate one of the wacky holidays.  The food they’d be having and even mentioning  of one of today’s wacky holidays.
Yes my mind is challenged with these wacky days.  It’s good to be challenged I must say.
Now I look forward to putting today’s wacky holidays into some type of story.  Just can’t get my head around them yet.  Maybe it’ll end up from a dream I have after falling back to sleep.
Thursday....one heck of a week so far.
Until next time....think of today as Friday Eve and as always Stay Safe.

                            LUCK

It’s the luck of the Irish I heard say
Really nationality has nothing to do with it
Irish, Scottish, Polish, French doesn’t matter Some individuals are fortunate, others not
However it’s just the way things go in life

                  FLARED TEMPER

Stubborn she definitely was
refusing to take her friends advice
Ticking her off for the last time
    her Irish temper flared
She told everyone to take a hike
They planned to stay clear
     until she calmed down
Except him....he remained
A wild Irish colleen, he nicknamed her
Hoping to pacify her....he listened to her
      ranting
Unfortunately his presence had caused her
      dander to rile even more

              WINE and CHOCOLATES

She felt forlorn
  nothing seemed to go right
Apparently happiness was meant
      for everyone but her
Her heart broken in pieces after
   his rejection
Feeling at the end of her rope
She sat down and cried
A good cry always helped her
As well as two glasses of wine
  and a few Belgium chocolates

     WACKY HOLIDAYS MARCH 3rd
(National Anthem Day; National I Want You
to be Happy Day; National Cold Cuts Day
Princess Day and National Mulled Wine
          Day)

To make you happy today I’ll wear your
birthday gift.....the tee shirt with the
        words printed
‘Stand for the National Anthem; kneel
       before the cross’
As it’s princess day my tiara will be worn
at our rather strange tea party with
sweet tea, subs with tasty cold cuts and
        pound cake
Later it’ll be mulled wine to relax
