MADNESS of MARCH....Day 6

Well I actually got to sleep in until 4:00am. Gee I missed my 3:00am waking up hour.
Yesterday was quite a busy day for me. Running stuff to my husband at rehab; no I can’t see him but I can bring stuff and give it to person at the door who takes it to him.  They deliver it right away too. In fact he probably had his package before I even got out of the parking lot.  I did speak with him twice in the phone though.
Excitement today in my area.  As I drove north on the highway heading home the southbound lane was blocked off. I believe there was a fatal accident.  In fact traffic was using my street to get around to try to go south.  I knew which way most were going to go once they got to the end of the street.  Seemed like a freeway on my street till about 7pm.  Found out yes fatal motorcycle accident.   In fact a chopper landed on the highway to airlift one of the victims.
Today’s Irish word was JIG. I wrote about an Irish female who really lets her hair down every St. Patrick’s Day.  The second piece was an acrostic.
Terry’s word of the day COMPLICIT indeed a new word for me.  I used it as piece on a persons friends doing a devious act so their friend wouldn’t be hurt.  I’m enjoying her words and thinking up ways to use them.  Later in the evening while reading I came across that word in the mystery I’m reading. Funny it was for sure.
The wacky holidays were easy for yesterday.   In fact I chuckled about the dress being stained with cheese doodle crumbs.  I’m a fan of cheese doodles so I know how they can stain clothes as well as your hands.
Well it’s Saturday so go out and have a great day.
Until tomorrow....make the most of your weekend as next weekend we spring ahead one hour; and as always Stay Safe.

                     POOR CLAIRE

She was definitely as Irish as Paddy’s Pig
Dancing the night away to a lively Irish jig
Quenching her thirst with a pint of Guinness
        or two
Such an Irish colleen she was so true
Her favorite day the seventeenth of March
Stepping lively to the music till she got
        parched
Sitting out for awhile with her favorite brew
Also downing a shot of Jamisons or two
The one day a year that she lets down her
        hair
But paying for it the next day always oh
    poor Claire

                           JIG

Just step lively to the music....dance the
       night away
It’s Saint Patrick’s Day time to party....
   everyone is Irish today
Green the color of the day to wear....even
      the beer is green

                 FRIENDS PERHAPS

They were complicit in telling her lies
about the man she was dating
Her friends knew he was a player at one
     time
Once a player always a player they thought
 He changed his ways recently
but they did not want her to get hurt
So they told untruths about his character
Believing the friends she told him goodbye

      WACKY HOLIDAYS MARCH 5th
(National Cheese Doodle Day; National
   Multiple Personality Day; National
Salesperson Day and Dress in Blue Day)

My sweet personality plans to shop today
Wearing the blue dress purchased last
         week
The salesperson said the dress looked
fantastic on me....the color suited me well
But perhaps she lied to make a sale
Doesn’t matter either way....too late to make
    a return
Already have a stain on it thanks to
  cheese doodle crumbs
