JUST JULY….Day 30

Today is a just veg out day.  It takes a toll on one mentally and physically going to visit a love one at a hospital or rehab facility.  I know it takes it out of me. The driving to and from the place; the mask indeed and the stress of worrying about the person. As I had no visit today (no openings) I’ll just stay put and try to revitalize myself.
It was a nice busy day yesterday.  After my visit with my husband, I had to run to the store to get bread so I can make sandwiches for my husband. They are allowing me to bring in soft bread sandwiches he can have.  He’s on what is a mechanical diet.  All foods must be cut small and soft (not purée) and certain sandwiches allowed.  The days I visit I’ll be taking them.
After my shopping at the store I had to run home as I had a package delivered I needed to get inside.  Good thing I did as it rained like crazy later.  I had met people at a new local craft brewery for a few hours.  It was a nice place and nice afternoon. While there the storms came and had to stay awhile longer.
I got home in time to get my trash bin out for today before it poured again.
Of course the big downpours aren’t good for my allergies.  Seems after big storm my allergies get bad.
As I’m trying to get this done, it started to rain again.
Until tomorrow….have a good day and as always Stay Safe.

Have to blame someone or something

                        JARTS

Today they’d say it was dangerous
    for playing
The sale of JARTS banned in 1988
Similar to regular darts and horseshoes
It was a game of fun to play outside
A good player indeed was I
Naturally I did practice a bit
