JUST JUNE…Day 19

It’s Saturday and believe it or not I actually got to sleep in later.  There are no scheduled visits with my husband until Monday due to still scheduling them at rehab. I know he’ll be upset be sure he understands how it is.
I don’t really have any specific plans for today. Need to just take what people call a mental health day.
Funny how I ran into people yesterday at Advent Hospital from the Amvets. It was like old home week.  That’s what I observed yesterday.  I noticed other people running into acquaintances also so it wasn’t just me.
As I think of the nostalgic toys and games for each day I will admit that I never heard of the WOOLY WILLIE. I went to Google to research the toy. Not sure if I’d want one.
Here’s a secret or not a secret.  My friend Terry published a cute children’s story and she used a few past daily words init. I actually dropped my other book I was reading to read this one. Unfortunately now I want more adventures of this character.
One of the weird holidays today is martini day.  I do wonder if the bartender can make one at the Amvets.  Of course it’s Bloody Mary day today. I donated a bacon flavored salt for the glass rims and must say it makes that drink quite tasty.
Until tomorrow….enjoy the day and as always Stay Safe.

                 DAILY OBSERVATION

While visiting the hospital today
I met three people from the club
Two, like me, visiting their spouse
One going in for some lab work
Old home week it seemed

                    ODD TOY
WOOLY WILLY I never owned
Never saw one before either
It doesn’t matter to me at all
I’d probably not play with it much

    WACKY HOLIDAYS JUNE 18th
(International Panic Day;International
  Picnic Day; International Sushi Day
   and National Splurge Day)

I’m not going to panic today
Cause the rain made me cancel the
    picnic
Instead it’ll be a lunch at a
    restaurant
No sushi for me….thank you
But perhaps I’ll splurge for lobster tail
   and steamed clams
