JUST JUNE….Day 15

 

Today is a short read.  

Yesterday was both Flag Day and the Army birthday.  I did celebrate the Army with a shot of bourbon and a frosty brew.  It was also National Bourbon Day so it worked. 

I laugh about my observation for yesterday.  Yes I had to get ready for a meeting. Well I decided to put what I needed into my red bag with the inscription, MY BITCH BAG. 

So funny men are quite unobservant; not one noticed the bag’s wording.  Too funny for sure.  Or if they did notice the wording did not want to say anything.  Sure a few of the guys thought we’ll perfect bag for her as that’s what she can be. This crossed my mind later in the evening. The meeting did go well as I was surprised.  Thought for sure there’d be some issue coming up but no.  

When I noticed the daily word yesterday I was excited.  The toy word was WEAVING LOOM. I had one of these items. I made many a pot holder for handmade gifts.  It was fun creating colorful potholders for use.  I never could master putting the squares together to do a loomed rug though.  

Today is another day of visiting my husband. Hope I find improvements today. Praying for this.  Later in the day around five o’clock I’ll need to unwind. I hope to play bar poker.  It’s just a fun game and I did win last week a few hands; no big dollars.  It’s an all in fun game. 

It’s already mid-June.  Where did the days go?

It’s meeting night….I need to get ready

Will get everything I need in 

      MY BITCH BAG

Wonder if anyone will notice the bag

Probably not….men aren’t observant

                   WEAVING 

Many a pot holders l did weave

Some colorful and bright

  others single shades

Grandma used all I made 

The weaving loom made good 

     presents for mom, grandma, aunts 

       and teachers 

I never could connect the squares  

 into a rug unfortunately 

Wouldn’t mind having one today 

  it’d be fun to act as if I’m a kid again
