JUST JUNE….Day 23

 

I had a nice visit with hubby yesterday. Unfortunately I had to leave after overstaying my visit. The screener and another worker at rehab saw my tote bag which has the words, MY BITCH BAG, imprinted on it. They both remarked and I said I’d bring them one. 

I could not help noticing on Tuesday some of my neighbors had put their garbage bins out a day early.  Not sure why. It’s not as if they wouldn’t be home; just I guess making sure the bin is out front. Now when our date was changed to Wednesday our pick up was before eight in the morning.  Now it seems like it’s in the afternoon.  They have only a driver now and the bins are picked up automatically.  I always wonder what happens if the bin pick up device malfunctions during the day.  Does the driver do it manually or go back to the shop for another truck?  

This is a short read today.  My allergies are bothering me and it’s hard to concentrate.  

It’s Hump Day today.

             DAILY OBSERVATION 

People put out trash bins so early 

Garbage pick-up is not till the next day

Yet some have their bins out before 

     noon

Why? It’s a pondering in my mind

            HIDING and SEEKING 

I always found the best places to hide

 Fun to sneak out to race home 

      and yell “FREE”

While the person seeking looks for 

   other hiders

Of course I was not good at seeking 

    some players

I always wanted a VW Beetle

 the closest I got a paperweight 

A plastic clear item with some type

  of oil inside

White and black beads inside made it

  classy

Only VW Beetle I’ll ever own

HVAC Techs should have a day 

  in summer and another in winter

They keep our heating units working to

  keep us toasty

Air conditioning to keep us cool in

  summer

                           III

Food celebrations always intrigue me

I really am craving an order of onion

  rings

Would enjoy an eclair but my

    waistline would not
