JULY JEWELS….Day 10

 

Another Saturday is upon us. This week sure sped by fast. It seems that we were celebrating the Fourth of July and now it’s the tenth.  In a few days the month will be half over. 

After the rains of the past few days my allergies sure got bad again. I’ve been sneezing off and on since I got up this morning. Hopefully it’s allergies and not a summer cold.  

Today I visit my husband again and hope he isn’t as sleepy as yesterday.  

Then again sleep is good when feeling sick. I think therapy makes him tired. 

The next few days again are going to be busy for sure. Not sure when I’ll have another day to unwind.  I did make my visit appointments for next week to see my husband.  It’s easier to do so; then one day at a time. 

Yesterday I had the craziest drivers that I thought a full moon was coming.  First I stop at a stop sign. No one is coming and I proceed then out of the blue a guy on a crotch rocket wearing flip flops, no helmet, tank top and shorts comes out of no where. He’s coming from my right, I slam on my breaks and he turns the corner at almost sixty miles an hour.  Thought for sure he was going to tumble off his bike. Now a few blocks later I’m at another stop sign; no one is coming and I am proceeding to go. Well from my left side some guy on a riding lawn mower pulls out in front of me.  What the heck I think. I could not wait to get home.  Oh yes, no full moon either.  Idiots out in the world for sure. 

Hopefully today will be better. 

It’s crazy sometimes out in the world.

  in 1943 

Paired with other characters until 1947

Their names a pun on a famous 18th 

   furniture designer 

 with the last name of Chippendale 

Chip is logical minded and scheming 

Dale more laid-back and impulsive 

Brothers who stick together in thick 

     and thin 

Dale and Chip the cute chipmunks 

  who like the other chipmunks did not 

      sing

Nor were Chip and Dale

  Chip ‘n’ Dale dancers
