JULY JEWELS….Day 6

 

Another busy day for me. I am not sure if I’ll ever get a day that I can just not have to be someplace at any specific time. 

This is going to be a short read today, but I’ve said that before too.  Yesterday I was really upset with the roommate in my husbands rehab room.  He is demanding to all and I had to explain to him I’m not an employee of the place.  He keeps asking for things and it’s not my place to do them.  Just because I’ll cover my husband, or get him something does not mean I’m there to help him. 

Enough said.  I did vent my problems to people at the club and had to put money in the SWEAR JAR.  It did feel good though to vent. 

Like on Sunday, which was the fourth, it was quite busy by Lake Jackson yesterday. People no doubt taking advantage of the last of the three day weekend; and nice weather before the rains. 

Terry’s coming up with the old cartoons has been fun. I’m learning that many of these cartoons came out earlier than I thought. Take yesterday’s CASPER 

 the FRIENDLY GHOST, I thought it came out in the sixties but learned it came out in the forties.  Interesting I’ve found this information.  I have been Googling the cartoons each day to find out more about them.  In a way it’s a learning experience for me.

Grownups they say look at him 

  and get scared….but not children

I be scared if I saw a ghost no matter 

     what my age

Eating too many apple turnovers 

 and s’mores with Honey Maid graham 

     crackers 

Would cause the red, white and blue 

   bikini not to fit

Such a shame not to look patriotic on

  the beach for Freedom week
