JULY JEWELS….Day 25

 

It’s Sunday.  Another day in my soap opera life.  Visiting my husband today.  Not sure how long today’s visit will be. I think I’ll need to bring water and a snack in case like yesterday I get hungry.  

I’m quite still appalled about the free lunch at my vets club.  I have not been there since Wednesday.  I decided to stop by just to see what’s going on there and give an update on my husband. Heard one individual complain that no lunch left in the crock pot (this was about 6pm). Not sure what they thought at that time of the day. Another female said she’ll have to come early Sunday just to get something to eat as nothing ever left.  Then remarked about the possibly of calling the bartender to put stuff away for her.  I almost fell over. What gall.  

As I was giving a few people the update on my husband, one person broke into the conversation talking about how they had the same thing happen to them.  Only this individual’s issue was double.  There are people who have to up you on just about everything.  

I’m getting ready for my day so making a short read. 

Yesterday morning after seeing Terry’s cartoon of the day, the theme song to MAGILLA GORILLA played over and over in my head. I always enjoyed this show but not sure why.  One reason is that he never left the pet store for any length of time.  People would bring him back after a short period of time. I always had hopes he’d finally get to a permanent home.

   upped with your problems by another

Whatever you’re going through 

   someone can tell you it happened 

       double to them 

Seems my issues are just trivial 

   when it comes to other individuals

      WACKY HOLIDAYS JULY 24th

(National Frozen Margarita Day; 

  National Tequila Day; National Drive

  Thru Day and National Cousins Day)

Going out with my cousin to celebrate the day 

 Having lunch at a steak house 

Then  take a drive thru Dairy Queen 

      for cones

Later we’re off to have a frozen

  margarita or two

Might do a tequila shooter to end the day
