JULY JEWELS….Day 14

 

Murphy’s Law sure was with me yesterday.  I needed to see a banker about a few things; since COVID you don’t just walk into the bank.  It seems an appointment is needed.  So I had to make an appointment. After that I rearranged my day.  I ended up stuck in traffic then had detours.  I stopped at a drug store only to find the register not working right.  The cashier had to cancel out my transaction and do it at another register.  Going to see my husband was another issue.  The roommate took over both visitor chairs. It is one chair per patient but he had both occupied. One with his stuff which should be in the closet; second chair which should be for my husband taken up by one of his visitors.  The lady says well I have a bad knee. I said well so do I and that chair is for my husband’s visitors.  As I was about to leave to make issue with someone in charge I found they were moving him elsewhere.  Yeah I thought he’s being moved from obnoxious roommate who has a disgusting attitude. Later in the day I went to play bar poker. My first thought my unlucky/lucky charm not there but I won three hands; perhaps they weren’t needed. 

MARVIN the MARTIAN was the vintage cartoon yesterday. Looney Tunes had some of the best characters.  I like at least I’d say ninety-five percent of the characters.  There were a few I did care really care to watch. 

Today is hump day and I have another busy day ahead beginning at eleven.
