JULY JEWELS….Day 13

 

It was like being back in the military at my lawyers office yesterday, hurry-up and wait.  I was fifteen minutes early  for my appointment, I’m never certain about traffic at times.  There I sat waiting past my appointment time.  Actually it was fine as I caught up on reading my emails. Thank goodness for electronic devices to entertain us in this day and age. 

After I decided not to venture home since I’d have to turn around to go back out to the Amvets for a meeting. I had to get there early so I could use the printer to print copies for everyone to read. 

After arriving home I read awhile before falling asleep. 

I am sad I can’t be at the memorial service of my friend’s husband on Friday. I have to be with my husband at the hospital as he gets a test done on Friday at the same time. I saw her yesterday to explain to her why I could not be there. She understood only quite well.  Giving her a big hug of comfort goes a long way. 

Heckle and Jeckle was yesterday’s vintage cartoon. There were some cartoons I’d watch; some like this were not in my group of favorites. Not sure why but then everyone has their favorites. 

I wrote thoughts on the wacky holidays of yesterday.  There are days that I rather give my thought on my feelings about the day.

I have realized I’m over thinking about 

    things 

Result of having an overactive 

    imagination 

A need to clear my head is what is 

    required

Remove the negative thoughts….keep 

   the positive….I begin now

Pecan pie, no thank you

I like a simple apple pie or blueberry

Pecan too sweet for my taste

Paper bags are rarely offered in stores 

  anymore

I’d rather a paper bag then plastic

But then plastic make good waste 

   basket bags in the bathroom

Eat my Jello, yes I will

As long as it’s a Jell-O shot

Vodka and Fireball my favorite
