JULY JEWELS….Day 12

 

It’s Monday again.  A new week begins and it’s going to be busy for me. Today I have an appointment with my attorney then meeting at my Amvets post.  Tomorrow I have three places I need to be and Wednesday the same. 

Yesterday I actually thought I was having deja vu but my friend talked me out if it, until the late afternoon.  Then I got unsettling news that later last night made me think I could be correct in my thoughts. 

I am praying this is not happening to me. That what is happening now could be just things happening as they are. 

At this moment I’m not ready to talk about it in the blog, but I need to keep positive thoughts.  

Yesterday I was at the Amvets when I received a Personal Message from an acquaintance.   As I began to read it the telephone rang and our commander was calling to give the same information to the bartender.  A member of our Amvets passed away.  A really wonderful guy who was the first person I met when I walked into what was then the old post.  

He had been having problems with his health for awhile but it’s still heartbreaking.  The news brought tears to my eyes which is something I don’t really do for those I’m not close with. It seems I’ve become friends with the wife over the past few years as I’ve gotten more active in the club. Today I will have my toast to the man after the evening meeting.

I had weird thoughts things happening to me right now deja vu 

A friend talked me out of the thought

Until later in the day….something  

   occurred that brought it all back

Pray it’s not happening

I’m  not a fan of Foghorn

Although the memes I’ve recently seem 

    could be right

He says “I say boy, what this country 

   needs is a butt whipping” 

But of course butt was not used

Deciding if I want a mojito later today

Or should I go to 7-11 for a slurpy

I’m having a blueberry muffin for

  breakfast and a few Rainer cherries
