MAY DAYS of FUN....Day Eleven

I woke up about 3:00am this morning.  Unable to fall back to sleep I checked the daily weird/wacky holidays for the day.  I laughed when I read it was National Twilight Zone Day.  I feel we are now living in an episode of the show.  I counted back the days to when I last ate out in one of my favorite places and realized it’s been fifty-five days.  They are now opened on Phase I with limited capacity.  I am not sure if I want to venture out to eat or not yet.  I mean I’d have to make certain first I could get in and not have a wait due to the capacity requirements plus what about wearing a mask?  All this pops in my head at 3:00am as I try to get back to sleep.  Since I couldn’t I ended up with my daily reflection that I’m living in the Twilight Zone right now.    I then typed out my feelings in the piece I wrote about the sign of the times currently.
I’m afraid if I look out my door this morning I’ll see Rod Serling standing there.  I know I’m not the only one who feels they’re living in an episode of the show.  Think about when the last time you sat in a restaurant or gone out to a movie or an event.  Is it more than sixty days?
Until next time....keep positive.

Day 11....DAILY REFLECTIONS

Looking at the wacky/weird holidays for
today....I notice it’s National Twilight Zone
      Day
We sure are living in it....at lease at this
        moment in time
Just waiting for Rod Serling to pop by any
    minute....though I’d rather Rod Stewart

It had been fifty-five days....as of today....
since I last dine at a restaurant
I wonder........when I’ll be out again
sitting in one of my favorite locally owned
       pubs....enjoying a beer....playing the
            trivia game....watching sports on the
                big screens....eating my favorite
                      foods
Although they opened again....I’m staying
  put....how can I dine through a mask?
Appears takeout my only
choice for now....no mask required at
                home
