Short read today.
Monday has reared its ugly head again.
It was a very uneventful day yesterday. I did not leave the house. Just felt sorry for myself. I’m in a state of depression at times due to my husband in rehab. I know I need not get depressed but I do. I had NO desire to watch TV, write or read. But decided I needed to get on with things; ended up reading and listening to music. Today is going to be busy, very busy. That means I can’t feel sorry for myself.
It’s 4:30 and I need a few more hours sleep before a 10am appointment which will take me an hour to drive.
The Daily Observation true indeed. I watched the gecko yesterday. It is funny to watch vas they climb upon things outside. One time I actually had one hanging for dear life on my windshield wiper. I noticed it as I was driving down US 27. We were on our way to the Amvets for a flag raising service that day. Ended up with the gecko all the way there. It somehow got off the car after we parked. It found a new home about five miles away from where it once lived.
Yesterday the UK word was CRACKERS. Funny that it is not only savory or water biscuits in the UK but something used at Christmas; described like I stated. It makes some type of popping noise when pulled apart. Strange I think.
Until tomorrow....have a good day and Stay Safe.

NO MILK
The rain hits gently on the roof
Outside puddles form on the street
I sit looking out into the world
Wondering why I did not go to
the store earlier
Guess no milk for my cereal tomorrow
it’ll be dry Cheerios
DAILY OBSERVATION
A gecko sits statuesque on the trash
bin lid
Do I disturb it or wait to throw out
my trash
Such a dilemma at eight in the morning

CRACKERS
Looking at my grocery list
I head to the shop
Picking up a few tins of soup
Water biscuits for crumbling in the soup
I asked for crackers the last time
They gave me a cardboard tube wrapped in brightly colored paper
Found out it’s an item used during
Christmas
Who knew?
