MARVELOUS MAY....Day 12

 

It’s 3am and I’m awake. Deciding whether to type or not. 

I decided to try to fall asleep. I’ll type this later when I finally get up for the day.  I was reading Terry’s book that she finished writing.  It was indeed an interesting story line and kept my interest on what would happen next.  As with many items I’ve read that people I know composed I’ll give this a second reading. 

Yesterday again I visited my husband. I get depressed after I leave him. I need to not do so but I can’t help it. I guess enough said. 

This is definitely a short read today. 

Yesterday the daily UK word was SKIP. Too funny as I had to take my skip to the curb last night.  I feel so British using these words indeed.  I hope she continues with fun words in June. Hint hint if you’re reading this how about words associated with June.  

It’s Wednesday and hope you have a great day. 

I’ve come to the conclusion, no up past midnight reading anymore.

                   MORNING 

The sun has awoken

and my Mr. Coffee has spoken

     Drip....drip....drip

  the sound as coffee fills the pot

Outside birds tweet and chirp 

Telling me another day has begun

Tweet....tweet....tweet

Get up....get up....get up

I translate their chirps

Just a few more minutes 

  I was up late reading

Chirp....chirp....chirp

No now....no now....no now

Nature’s alarm clock has no

  snooze button

The aroma of coffee enticing

  glad I set it on a timer

Crawling out of bed 

  I greet the day 

   and what will come my way

              BEING BRIT AGAIN 

Acting as if I’m a Brit today 

 Donning a fancy dress and hat 

Having high tea about six 

Later have a cocktail about half past 

     seven

After I roll my skip to the curb 

  then skip back towards the house 

           OBSERVATION 

Skip to the curb 

People watch from passing cars

No not doing a light bouncy step

I’m putting out my trash bin
