MARVELOUS MAY....Day 26

So I’m awake again at 3:00am well few minutes past. 

Yesterday was National Wine Day and today is National Chardonnay Day. Gee two wine days in a row. 

I thought about wine hitting the spot yesterday.  It was only a thought; I did not have any. 

I think the daily UK word WHEELIE BIN was so appropriate for yesterday.  Tuesday evening is the day I take my trash bin to the curb as garbage picked up is on Wednesday.  What is odd is that my garbage use to be picked up early in the day, but the past months it’s late in the afternoon.  Garbage day for me is also recycling day and the recycling truck comes right after seven at times.  Seems to wake me up sometimes if I’m not up by 7:00am. 

Well it’s now 8:45. I fell back to sleep about 4:30am but the recycling truck woke me at 7:15am.  Well I got up and got ready for the day; and was out to the grocery store by 7:45.  I’m home now by 8:30.  Love shopping early and yes I wrote my list on my phone.  YES I stuck to the list.  I have few more stores to hit later after breakfast. Well I have two errands done already; the first was a call to the bakery department of Publix to order patriotic cupcakes for the Amvets Memorial Day cookout after services.  

Now time for breakfast and post this. 

It’s Hump Day.  A three day weekend coming up.

             DAILY THOUGHT 

A glass of Moscato will hit the spot 

But a glass of Sangria would work too

Actually any wine would work to

   celebrate the day 

Except Chardonnay....that’s the wacky holiday tomorrow

            WEEKLY ROUTINE 

Tonight my wheelie bin and I take a       

  stroll to the curb

Tomorrow binny will be emptied into 

    the dustcart  

Later I’ll be a-rolling wheelie bin back 

  to it’s spot until next week

The same routine every week 

  Unless rubbish day falls on a holiday

Drying with my fluffy towel

My mind begins to form today’s plans

Taking a brown bag lunch to the lake

 Will sit on the dock watch the boaters 

     and jet skiers

Open one of the small bottles of 

  moscato and enjoy my afternoon 

Who knows after drinking both single serve bottles of wine 

I may tap dance home
