MARVELOUS MAY....Day 19

Yesterday we had a nice breeze. I opened the windows for fresh air.  Unfortunately I began to sneeze; but did not close the windows. I wrote an observation on that incident.
I decided to try to be twenty minutes early for visiting hours yesterday just to get a good parking spot.  It did not happen my spot was terrible.  Oh well is all I can say.
I loved yesterday’s daily word. It was CHUFFED.  The word means being happy but when I saw it, I thought it the opposite.  Funny isn’t it.  In my opinion chuffed would make a better word for unhappy.  Such as saying, “their attitude has me chuffed”.
Today is Wednesday and it’s hump day.
Where has the past few days gone?
I don’t think I’ve done anything but sit with my husband at the hospital, come home to eat then watch a bit of TV then read before falling asleep.
It’s just been like I’m in a fog lately.
At the moment there’s a challenge on by a local legion post to all other veterans posts in the area about wearing red in Friday.  A few of our Amvets members wanted to make sure I got word out on our Amvets Facebook page which I did and have been every day so far.  Not only should red shirts be worn, but there are other ways to show support.  I found an interesting small list of suggestions and used it as part of my ad for today.  One can wear red socks, hat, scarf, shorts, ribbon in the hair or red wrist band.  I’ve ordered red wrist bands and hope they arrive as they should tomorrow.  I’ll take them to the Amvets to give to our members to wear.
In a way the challenge is nice but it’s in a way childish.  We are after all adults. We are aware, as being involved in veterans organization, about wearing red on Fridays. I guess whoever started this challenge is just looking for a way to make certain we remember to do so; but a large veterans post as compared to a smaller one it’s unfair. Of course the larger will have more people there.
Now the funny thing is that the challenge post (a legion) used my Amvets ad I created to remind their members
Until tomorrow....have a good day and as always Stay Safe.

                NO ONE KNOWS
Not feeling chuffed these days
I have the right....too much going on
 that is dreadful
Smiling on the outside....keeping it all
    on the inside
No one needs to know....that’s how I
      want it
