MARVELOUS MAY....Day 15

It’s 6:30am; I had a bad nights sleep. Could be because of the day I had yesterday.
Yesterday was a terrible day. Drama was all I can say for me.
I was up and about at 6:30. Around 7:50 I left to go out to the store for a few food items.  I first needed to find a place for gas.  Yes I found a place and made sure I’d do that first. After I ran into the store and was actually home by 8:45.  Had breakfast at that time. I had another few things to do. Later I ran to the next store than to the Amvets for my Queen of Hearts tickets. While there I got a call my husband was being taken to the hospital due to possible kidney shut down.  The rehab told me to please don’t rush as he wouldn’t be there for 20 minutes as it was not an life/death emergency but needed to be checked out.  Well I ran out of the Amvets after informing Lisa the bar server what was happening.  Got to the hospital same time as the ambulance.  Got into the ER room.  They did all types of lab work, EKG, ultrasound and a few other things. He was admitted for tests on what is causing or caused the problem. He did have an UTI. Well with him in the hospital I can see him often not like at rehab where I have to make appointments.
Whew drama indeed.
My first two pieces are true for my life at the moment. Enough said on that.
Terry gave us the word PETRO yesterday as our daily UK word. What a good word with what’s going on at the moment.
The wacky holidays seem to fit together in an odd way.
It’s Saturday and looks like my day will be full.
Until tomorrow....drama is my middle name; as always Stay Safe.

                  PROUD WAC
Proud to have been a WAC
    to have served Uncle Sam
   during the Vietnam War
Proud to have been one of the women
who served between 1932 to 1978
in the corps known as WACS
In a way we were trailblazers for
  women serving today

              NO GAS FOR ME
Tried to get gas the other day
None to be had at three stations
Yesterday morning fortunate to find
      a mini mart with some
Wonder if the UK having petro
     shortages too
Probably not

WACKY HOLIDAYS MAY 14th
(WACS Birthday; Stars and Stripes
 Forever Day; National Chicken Dance
 Day and National Biscuits Day)

As a WAC I remember marching to
   music in basic training
Stars and Stripes Forever one of the
   songs
Can you imagine marching to the chicken dance tune
That’s too funny to think of
The thought had me almost chocking
    on my buttermilk biscuit
