MARVELOUS MAY....Day 3

 Short Read!

Monday is here again.
Another week has begun.
Yesterday was a lazy day after the meeting I attended.  Today I have another meeting. Well at least this is the last meeting until September for my 40&8 Voiture.  I still have Amvets meetings though.
I wrote the first piece about my day yesterday.  Sat outside after my meeting with a book but a cold brew not wine yesterday.  Off in the distance I heard birds.  Odd in the morning I hear them out my windows but later they seem to be elsewhere.  Maybe the birds out my window go someplace else to tweet for other people. Can’t say for sure.
Today I visit my husband at 10:30. Now Saturday they added something one must wear, a plastic shield over the face as well as face mask.  I feel sorry for those workers who have to keep it on all day.
Our word for yesterday was PRAM. Now I thought about it.  I sort of like the word better than saying baby carriage or baby buggy.  I guess it sounds much nicer to me.  Buggy makes me think of a shopping cart and carriage a horse drawn item.
I hope you all have a good day.
Until tomorrow....as I always say Stay Safe.

                    LAZY DAY
Just a lazy day...
no desire to do a thing....
    lazy bones am I
Sitting on the swing outside....
   a book to read
       a glass of wine
Sounds of birds tweet off in the
      distance
Listening nature’s music on a Sunday
   afternoon

                       PRAM
Pushing a baby carriage through the
    park
Runners will jog with a stroller for
        exercise
As opposed to the UK....it’s pram and
     pushchair
Mothers no matter where take little
     ones out for fresh air

       SAME....DIFFERENT TERMS
She pushed her doll in the pram
I pushed mine in a carriage
It didn’t matter both are the same
I’m from the Chicago....she from
   London
Only a matter of how things are
    perceived in different countries

      WACKY HOLIDAYS MAY 2
(World Tuna Day; World Laughter Day;
Roberts Rules of Order Day and Rural
  Life Sunday)

Roberts Rules of Order.... I’ve read
enough this morning to prepare me
    for tomorrow’s meeting
It will be enjoyable to stroll through
the meadow this afternoon with a
    picnic lunch of tuna sandwiches,
       chips, pickles and fruit
A trip to the country always relaxing
We will laugh like children while
running in the field chasing butterflies
    on a lazy Sunday
