JUST THOUGHTS and SUCH... June 28th

Seems this COVID-19 has been instrumental in a lot of my writing pieces. My husband wanted me to use the word in a fifteen minute piece with the following words:

COVID-19    Eenie, Meenie, Minny, Moe

   Florida Room

It was weird to try using 

 ‘Eenie, Meenie, Minny, Moe’

In the same piece as COVID-19 and Florida Room. But I thought well here goes. So I decided to just type until he said “time is up”.  I kept going back to change things in the fifteen minute time frame. I needed to come up with odd names for places like patio, yard and screened room.  Yesterday I used the French term for living room for a post about drinking at home. I liked using it as it sounded ritzy so I used it in today’s piece.  It’s really odd I think how protesters not wearing masks protesting don’t get the virus in such closed proximity but bars/clubs people social distancing are doing so.  Enough said.  My reflections are about the upcoming holiday.  I’m surprised people aren’t shooting off fireworks but perhaps they can’t afford them this year.

      June 28th....DAILY REFLECTIONS 

Last Sunday in June....where has the month 

     gone....I’m waiting for people to start 

        shootings off fireworks any day now 

In my neighbor they begin a week before 

        the Fourth....continue for two days        

                after

Perhaps no one can afford them this year....

   especially with many being out of work 

             due to The Corona

I’m going to HAPPY HOUR today 

 Few places to choose from 

      COVID-19 again closed the clubs and 

          bars

Where to go....where to go....my dilemma 

Do I flip a coin....pull a name out of my Bitch 

       Hat....or eenie, meenie, minny, moe

              to get my answer

Will it be Los Patio....

     Yard-Lee-Villa....outdoor drinking 

          establishments....or indoors at San 

              Florida Room where I enjoy my 

                   afternoon 

  Choices....confusing my mind 

 I want to go someplace a tad bit       

   ritzy

Someplace with soft music playing so I can 

      read while I sip my wine

Guess it’ll be the cocktail lounge....La Salle 

          de Sejour again

  Happy Hour enjoyable there yesterday
