JUST THOUGHTS and SUCH....June 26th

My husband said let’s see how you’d use the following words:
   Masks    Mace    Aqua Net
After all there can’t be a connection with them.  I began to type (20 minutes) and threw phrases together.  Finally I was able to put them into the following piece.  He did laugh.  Actually part of the piece rings true. I put my mask on wrong then when I went to fix it, well it fell and I was afraid to use it. I had a package of ten in my trunk plus in my car my bandanna which I used earlier.  I tied that on instead.  He told me I should carry the pack of mask in my purse just in case someone needs one. Like I thought what am I the emergency services person.  As I wrote about this situation of someone carrying all this stuff it dawned on me how to use all the words.  Actually my friend commented after I sent her the poem she thinks Aqua Net would probably work better than the mace.  Thought to ponder.
As it’s Friday and I wear one of red shirts today, I realize I have enough to wear a red shirt for a week.  Again Ms. Aqua Net friend says well you need to go to same place everyday to see if anyone notices. I could do that if I wanted.  Never thought about that when I wrote my daily reflection.  I am seriously thinking about red shirts all day next week.  I see my neighbor on a daily basis so maybe he’ll notice the shirt.  I’ll keep you all posted on this endeavor.   Today I hope you all enjoy Friday.  It is National Food Truck Day; I’ve never eaten from one.  Not sure if I’m missing something or not.
Until tomorrow....enjoy the day.

 June 26th....DAILY REFLECTIONS

Today is Friday....today we all wear RED....
it’s a small way to Support Our Troops
                 and
     REMEMBER EVERYONE DEPLOYED....

It is the least we can do wear RED....I find I
have enough red shirts to wear one
everyday of the week for our
troops....I may do this next week....a
                    week of red shirts

Wonder if anyone would notice I’m wearing
a red shirt every day....if so I’ll just say
          I’m starting Friday early....and
            showing Support to those Deployed

Stopped by my vets club yesterday to see
      what’s going on
Bartender and four customers were wearing
masks, I felt I’m oh so wrong
Put on my mask to cover my face as that’s
       the thing to do
I put it with the white side out and inside
          side color of blue
Hurrying to fix my mistake it fell upon the
          floor
Do I pick it up and use it? Instead I walked
     out the door
In my trunk I had a pack of ten count masks
       unused
Instead I picked up my cloth bandanna
       mask I just recently used
Tied it securely around my face, walked
     back towards the bar
I looked like a mask bandido as I strolled
        slowly from my car
Should have listened to my husband who
said carry the pack of masks
You’ll always have an extra for someone in
        need, just incase they ask
Now my small purse is now a large tote bag
with many things I may need
Safety pins, pens, miniature first aid and
sewing kit to help someone indeed
I never thought I would need to carry masks
      to cover my face
To make room for them I had to remove my
        three canisters of mace
So if I’m now attacked sometime, no fear I
        will be all set
Instead of mace I’ll spray their face with my
    can of Aqua Net
