Short blog for today.
It’s Monday the first day of a new week. What will this week bring us? What issues and challenges? We can’t predict the days ahead so we need to stay focused and deal with whatever comes our way.
I wrote a piece about the camera today for National Camera Day. Seems I’ve had tons of them over the years from my first Brownie to an Olympus. I never had a throw away one though. I now use my phone for photos and carrying pics. Many use their phones as video camera, I’ve never done that either. Over the years I’ve lost photos due to floods, water damage and moving but many were lost from water damage.
I keep important ones on my cloud.
Until tomorrow....have a good rest of the day.

SMILE FOR THE CAMERA

Pose for the photograph
Smile nicely and please don’t laugh
Look and watch the birdie....say cheese
Was those orders to put us at ease?
It’s National Camera Day today
Another weird and wacky holiday
I recall my first camera as a child
An old brown box shaped object....called
the Brownie
The photos I snapped over the years
Where are the pictures today?
Anyone’s guess!
My second camera the Polaroid....photos
developed right before my eyes
So many cameras I did own
Canon, Nikon, Kodak, Olympus
Where are they now?
Anyone’s guess!
Phones replaced the camera
We talk....send messages....take
snapshots all from one device
No brag books do we carry with pictures of
our spouse, significant other, kids,
grandkids or our animals
They’re all on our phone....show them off in
just seconds
Is the camera becoming a dinosaur?
