It the last day of June. I’m not certain where the month gone or what I did. Whew for sure. Seems like my vets club opened the first week now it’s closed again here in Florida. Today I wrote a short piece about the month; the other came to my mind about coffee. I recall my first cup of coffee. It had two sugars and real cream. Over the years I just used one sugar and milk; then just milk; the powered cream now black. I must start the day with coffee. Actually I can drink it all day which I know is not good for you. I never was a fan of instant coffee or what was known as freezer dried coffee. There are times I like a fancy coffee drink. I only get them on occasion as it’s just regular coffee for me. I can’t recall why I took that first cup of coffee but it had to do with being told that I was fifteen old enough to be responsible for certain getting a job outside the home; but most places did not hire till you were sixteen. I thought since I was old enough for working outside the home then I was old enough for coffee.
Until tomorrow....have a good day.

June 30....DAILY REFLECTIONS
The month ends today....where did it go....
I don’t think the month
of June busted out all over
Half a year now has gone....will the next half
year be any better....or will it be
worse
I’m hoping for improvement....but I’m a
glass is half full person
GOOD BYE OLD MONTH

The month of June ends today
Another begins tomorrow
Will July be one full of joy?
Or will it bring us sorrow?
One can not predict the days ahead
For the best we hope and pray
Things will be better for the world
Each and every day

OH SO WONDERFUL

Don’t talk to me till I have my first two sips
of coffee
It is my wake up juice
Jump starting my battery to function for
the day
This morning I recall a memory of my first
cup of java
I was fifteen years old....I’m a grownup now
I so decided
I poured from the old stainless pot sitting
on the stove
then doused it with cream and two
spoons of sugar
It tasted........oh so wonderful
As years went by the spoons of sugar
reduced to one
milk replaced the cream
Later years it became only powered coffee
creamer and no sugar for me
Now I pour a cup in the morning
drink it just the way it is
Hot, black as coal.....it tastes........oh so
wonderful
