Good Morning! What a long day yesterday at the Amvets. I worked the election poll for the officers running in election. One position did not run unopposed, there were six candidates, to fill three trustee positions. People did come out to vote. I feel this way, if you did not come out to vote; if you were not at nominations meeting, then you have no reason to complain how things are run. Like any election, National, state, local or in an organization, if you want change you need to make your voice heard by voting.
It was interesting as I’ve seen people I’ve never seen before.
As for my first piece, yes it does deal with the events of yesterday. Since the magician has been overly pleasant, I’m sure now elections over, I’ll be invisible once more. But I’ll find out next week if that is so. Not that he was running, but I think he had specific person in mind to win.
The second piece on the days of the week; that came into my head as I sat yesterday at the Amvets. It’s a short piece on how I’ve changed the names of a few days a week or how I view them.
Terry’s word was LADYBUGS. I really had nothing to say on them. I just think they are cute little bugs.
As for the wacky holidays, they sort of came together. I mentioned the name of a record store in the piece. Funny but as I was composing the wacky holiday piece it came to my mind.
It’s Sunday. Today I’m visiting my husband.

They eat aphids
Also are good for controlling pests in

Known by other names such
as lady beetles or ladybird beetles
None of that matters to me
I just think they look cute
