Short reading today.
Today is September 1st. A new month begins. What will it bring? I hope better than last few months. It’s been a wild ride for sure with closings and stay at home orders; social distancing; masks wearing and temperatures taken in many places before going inside.
Yesterday I found one of the grocery stores is now is now eliminating one way aisles in some of their stores. I hope they do keep the six feet apart in check out lanes.
I did a SEPTEMBER acrostic as well as a FALL one. I maybe doing more using fall/autumn words. Time will tell.
I hope everyone has good day.
Until next time....as always Stay Safe.

September 1st....DAILY REFLECTIONS
I read yesterday that my favorite grocery
store eliminated the one way aisles....I do
hope they keep the six feet apart for
social distancing in the check out lanes
I hate how some people get right up behind
you in line....then they bump your butt
with their shopping buggy....it’s not like
them hitting my backside is going to
make the line go faster
Next time someone does that I’ll have a
comeback....I’ll say if you’re trying to
shove that cart up my backside, well at
least buy me drinks and dinner
first....they should hopefully stop
them....or I think I’ll tell them one more
shove and I’ll shove my foot up your
butt (of course will use harsher
wording)

SEPTEMBER 1st

September has arrived on the coattails of
August, fall is not far behind
Even though summer is still around for a
few more weeks
Pumpkin spice and apple cider season
begins again
Tasty beverage and treats made with
apples and pumpkins are abundant
Each tantalizing our taste buds and
whetting our appetites
Back to school time for students and
educators as it is now September
Everyday will begin become shorter,
darkness will be longer
Reminding us that Old Man Winter is on the
horizon

FALL

Fall will soon arrive, with all its fanfare of
food and fun
Autumn days will bring shorter daylight
hours, longer nights
Light jackets and sweaters will be
taken out of storage to warm us from the
autumn chill
Like it or not, the season of winter is not far
behind
