It was a Good Friday. Hubby’s second therapy on his knee went well with the heat and cold treatments. Next week he’s not sure what will be done. After a shopping errand and visit to my Amvets post it was out for lunch. I finally got to play TAP TV again. Of course hubby won more games but I do think I was concentrating on my meal and drink. I did find something new I liked to eat from there, so I know I’ll have it again. I enjoy shrimp and have one place I get Buffalo Shrimp; now where I was yesterday they had a Cajun Shrimp. Oh my so tasty. Talk about Cajun this definitely was. The shrimp spicy. I can eat spicy foods but this actually had me tearing up a bit. I’ll know next time to ask for water and not rely on my wine to cool my mouth. Live and learn I say.
I was very happy to give a POW/MIA pin to our Amvets bartender yesterday. It made me happy I was making people aware of the day by wearing my shirt and ball cap. Hubby and I did a toast to POW/MIAs then a silent prayer for them and their families. After we had a toast to the Air Force on their birthday finally our every Friday toast to our deployed troops and prayer for their return home. Every Friday we’ve been doing a toast to the deployed troops and prayer for their safety. Just something we do.
Today is a quiet day. College football will be played today. It is my Saturday fall routine. Right now it doesn’t matter which team I watch, but when Big Ten returns it’s Penn State all the way.
My acrostic piece again deals with reminder of what the fall season brings.
I hope everyone has a great day.
Until next time....as always Stay Safe.

Looking forward to Big 10 returning some time in October....till then I’ll watch whatever comes on TV
Did not enjoy TAP TV yesterday....Murph won more games than me....then I was concentrating on my bucket of sangria

FALL REMINDER
© Scottie-ann Murphy
Fallen leaves from the elm cover my front
yard
And eventually the tree will be bare, the
leaves I’ll need to rake
Light of day begins to fade earlier and
earlier, dusk comes at five
Little reminders fall will soon make way for
winter
