Short read today.
Today is Saturday. Generally I’d be gearing up to watch Penn State play football but they are not this year. COVID has an impact on everything. I see a few of the schools have games and will be televised. I’m looking at watching one later this afternoon.
Yesterday’s reading at the Amvets for 9/11 services went quite well. I was glad to see we had a nice turnout in spite of the fact we are still social distancing. Some wore masks and all practiced social distancing.
Starting Monday the bars and clubs in Florida will be opening to 50% occupancy. I wonder how this will go; at least many have outdoor seating and the weather is warm as opposed to cooler climate places. It will be a see and wait on what is going on with the reopening in the coming days.
My acrostic focuses on the snowbirds trekking south for the fall. They seem to head out as trees begin changing colors and leaves fall. They remain in warmer climates until spring.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Until tomorrow....as always Stay Safe.

September 12th....DAILY REFLECTIONS Saturday again....usually this time of year it’s college football day watching....unfortunately my favorite team is not playing
I guess I can get my college football fix by watching other teams....I notice FSU listed to play today....same with Duke
Of course I can just decide to read
instead....then I do have game apps....games sound fun

TREK of FALL

First sign of autumn the leaves begin to
change from green to brilliant colors
As the leaves begin to fall from the trees
‘Snowbirds’ trek south for the winter
Leaving behind the cold icy and snowy
weather conditions of their northern
homes
Lounging in the outdoors, enjoying warm
sunny days until it’s time to return north
again
