FALLING INTO SEPTEMBER....September 14th

It’s Monday again.  Another day of news that is depressing.   I need to take another day off from the news again.  I think I’ll do this once a week.  My reflections centers on the fact I have two meetings today.  The first is usually on the first Monday of the month but with that being a holiday, it was scheduled for today.  The second is on the correct day.  They are both at same place so do I leave meeting one and go home or stay for the second and go back.  Big choice for sure.  It’s been since six months since I’ve been to meetings.  I’m sure we will sit social distance from one another and wear masks.  The first meeting the 40&8  I have things to bring up.  Looks like I’ll need to make notes about it. Since I’m the local director for the nurses training program and received lots of information on our scholarships for the fall.  Second meeting the Amvets I’ll go with the flow.
My acrostic today FALL focuses on the return of pro-football.  I am NO LONGER a fan of the NFL and don’t care one way or another about it.  Now give me a good college game and I’m entertained.
Hope everyone enjoys their day today.  It’s National Cream Filled Donut Day and National Hoagie Day; have a hoagie then donut as dessert.
Until next time....as always Stay Safe.

Funny how some are excited about the
    return of the NFL

As for me I DON’T CARE if they play or
        don’t play

Let me watch college football on
  Saturdays as they stand for the flag and
     anthem

 Looking back through the years, college
   football I’ve found more entertaining
