FALLING INTO SEPTEMBER....September 20th

Sunday upon us again.  The week and weekend just hurried on by.  This morning I tried to watch the sun come up but as I looked out the window it was overcast. Looking at the weather app it showed rain later.  I’m trying to think about my Sunday reading. I have so many books and can never decide what I’m in the mood for at any given moment.  But seems I’ve dedicate Sunday’s to read one author till I’ve read all their books I own.  I’ll read that particular authors book on Sunday; then put it aside till the next week.  It has been working well for me.
My acrostic today is LEAVES.  I have been sneaking a peek at different pictures of leaves on the internet.  It takes me back to years of going for rides just to see the fall colors.  My favorite part of the ride would be a road side stand where apples and pumpkins could be purchased.  I was never good at carving so, I’d make a face on the pumpkin with a marker; sometimes throw an old baseball cap or old hat on it.
Over the years I’ve seen some amazing pumpkin carvings as well as clever ways to display them.  One of my favorite pumpkin pictures I’ve seen on the internet is the ‘mooning pumpkin’ followed by the funny picture when pumpkins drink too much. Is there a favorite pumpkin photo for you? Are you a good pumpkin carver?
Today’s wacky/weird holiday which I don’t find wacky or weird is WIFE APPRECIATION DAY.  What’s wacky or weird about that?
So until next time....have a blessed Sunday and as always Stay Safe.
