SHORT READ
Today is Sunday. Labor Day weekend Sunday. Yesterday I would have been watching college football especially Penn State. A shame they were not playing due to the virus. It was a different Saturday for sure.
Today I acrostic Labor Day and Fall.
I know I said this before, Labor Day to me means end of summer. I’d be thinking, if I still lived up north, about getting out my fall tops (sweaters, sweatshirts etc...) to wear. Preparing my clothes for the months till spring would arrive. Now I live in Florida there’s not much to do for preparing for fall it’s still weather for shorts etc...
The FALL acrostic focuses on what I enjoy about autumn. The food and the beverages flavored apple and pumpkin. I loved going to two fairs up in my old state and I’m a big fan of haunted houses and hayrides. One thing I do miss which I mentioned before is the changing of the leaves.
Until tomorrow....enjoy your Sunday, have a blessed day; and as always Stay Safe.

September 6th....DAILY REFLECTIONS
I thought about how odd it was yesterday.... generally I’d be wearing my Penn State
shirt....but they did not play football yesterday
I’d always have my Penn State shirt on along with my jewelry....I’d be out watching the game....cheering on the team
Different year for sure....I missed college football yesterday....although I did see Army played....they won....I see Navy plays Monday evening

Labor Day always signifies the end of
summer
And reminds us it’ll soon be time to put
away our flip flops
Boots and heavy sturdy shoes will be the
footwear soon
Our summer duds we packed in storage for
another year
Readying and preparing we are for the
winter months ahead
December, January and February the days
always gray and dreary
As we try to stay warm from the cold, we
reminisce on August days
Yearning for the first day of spring and
sunnier days ahead

FALL

Fall always means a time of fun and food to
me
All the enjoyment of the haunted houses,
hayrides, fairs and leaves turning colors
Let’s not forget tasty pumpkin spice and
apple flavored drinks available
Little did I know I’d miss the changing of
leaves when I moved south
