Very short read today.
TUSSIE MUSSIE is a small bunch of flowers and a synonym is nosegay. I never heard of tussie mussie before and spell check kept trying to change the word to tissue and not
tussie. It took a few retypes but I got it.
I like flowers such as a nosegay that would be elegant. I AM NOT a fan of the red roses. Never have been. They are so over the top it’s like there is NO imagination of the sender. Now don’t get in a tizzy about how I feel; it’s my opinion. I’ve received the red roses in my life BUT I love lavender or purple roses. A bouquet I find elegant and thoughtful is six roses and six orchids. In the piece I wrote the woman needs to decide between two men; their flowers help make her decision.
The second is just whimsical about my flower preferences. I like simple at times when I think of having a flower arrangement.
A small nosegay or tussie mussie given for no apparent reason. With the month of hearts and flowers approaching this was indeed an interesting word. It’s giving ideas on types of arrangements one might think about sending. Of course it’s not just women who I feel enjoy flowers, men do also. My husband had been out of town for work once for his birthday. I ended up calling to have flowers sent to him at his motel room. Did it surprise him? Yes! It was an arrangement of one rose and eleven carnations; plus a small Mylar balloon.
Today is Saturday and the weekend begins.
Until tomorrow....enjoy National Pie Day and as always Stay Safe.

HER DECISION
Which one would she pick
A decision had to be made
Two men in her life....she could only say yes
to one
A dozen red roses arrived today
She looked at the artful arrangement
Flowers, greens and baby’s breath
The sender had no imagination
Red roses so mundane....the card just as
boring hand printed by the florist
“Beautiful flowers for a lovely lady. Have a
nice day.”
Another floral delivery arrived
A nosegay of a lavender roses and mauve
cymbidium orchids
Elegant and beautiful arranged trimmed
with gold accents
This arrangement definitely thought out by
the sender
“You’re as special as the orchids and lovely
as the roses. Wishing you a wonderful
day.”
The card handwritten by the sender
The tussie mussie won out over the red
roses
She always liked an imaginative man

MY PREFERENCE
I am not a woman who is fussy
But I’d rather the tussie mussie
I adore a simple flowery bouquet
Of a sweet scented carnation nosegay
