WEEK TWO of THE NEW YEAR....Day Sixteen

I loved to stay in bed late on a Saturday when I was employed; especially if I didn’t have to get up for overtime on Saturday.   Usually it was Sunday I’d sleep in as I would go to Mass on Saturday.   What I hated was and still do being asked dumb questions before my first cup of coffee.  Heck even now I like to sleep late at times. I’m up late reading, sometimes till two in the morning. What I hated was being asked even before I have coffee what my plans for the day are.  Also hate when my husband asks what do I want for lunch or dinner.  That can set off a hissy fit or a conniption.  Anymore, he waits till I’m getting my second cup of coffee then speaks to me.
The word for January 15th was CONNIPTION
The two verses can ring true of many I know.  Although the second seems to really relate to me.  My husband can be up for hour or two before I get up.  Thank goodness he has the coffee made, after all I’ve read somewhere it says in the Bible men make coffee, HEBREWS.  Okay funny am I.
The first verse just popped into my head while out yesterday.  It reminded me of a scene in a store a awhile back where a wife was arguing with her husband about something he picked up to purchase.  Evidently he got the wrong brand of something or another.  I heard just part of her words telling him he never does anything right she might as well do everything herself.  I felt like saying chill out but kept quiet.  So I wrote the piece about a couple arguing over dumb stuff.
I have heard this CONNIPTION word over the years; heard it said to me and yes I’ve used it.
So today is Saturday and I’m up doing this blog before eight in the morning.  Yes my husband had coffee ready so no conniption there.
Until tomorrow...enjoy your weekend and as always Stay Safe.

                   SATURDAY AGAIN

Stamping her feet....she huffed and
     stomped  away
Another nasty out burst....on another
         Saturday
To him it seemed all they did anymore was
      fight
All because she thought he never could do
       anything right
Explaining her mood he only had one
      possible description
It appeared she was just having a weekend
     conniption

                  SATURDAY SLEEP IN

She made a scene....huffing and stomping
     around the house
Her voice raised in a scary scream....as if
      she saw a spider
The gibberish babbling words....he only
       heard a few
All he asked her what was for lunch....logical
      question he assumed
But it was only ten in the morning....she did
not have her first cup of coffee yet
He could not comprehend the reason for
this conniption....after all he been up for
            hours
