The word APOPLEXY I never heard before. The one definition I liked; incapacity or speechless caused by extreme anger. That’s the one I used today. After reading the definition the verse popped into my head. A breakup piece; day prior I did romantic verse. Some reason I just visualized the woman and man in this piece. I liked the fact I could use the journalistic questions also. This was not an easy word to use again. Seems I’ve had few of those days lately but seeing the verse as it played out in my mind helped.
Don’t even have idea about this piece I composed but I just rolled with it.
Yesterday I’m sure football fans watched the playoff games. This year the Super Bowl is being played about 97 miles from where I live; about an hour and a half. Might as well say two hours with traffic. I am sure the fans of the Tampa team celebrated hearty yesterday with the win and fact their team has home field advantage. Of course already there are Bernie memes out about the Super Bowl.
Today is Monday and it’s National Irish Coffee Day. At the moment I’m having one while I get this together.
Until tomorrow....enjoy the day and week ahead and as always Stay Safe.

THE REPORTER IN HER
The news made her upset....extreme anger
she felt
And not from the nightly broadcast on TV
but the announcement from the man she
loved
After 2 years....
After 24 months....
After 104 weeks....
After 730 days....
How is it possible he is calling it quits?
Why is he doing this?
What reasoning can there be?
Where will he be going?
When did it all begin?
The other question was there someone
else?
If so who is the other woman?
The journalistic questions she spewed
WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHY, WHEN and
HOW
He needed his space....
needed something new....
leaving for a new adventure he stated
All she could see is red and more red
The nerve of him....after all she done for him
After all she gave up to be with him
Shrugging his shoulders he said those
ridiculous words “it’s not you, it’s me”
She stood staring motionless in a
state of apoplexy
as he walked out the door
